Heather’s Foundation
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this year, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is focusing on the topic of resilience through the campaign,
“In This Together: Building Emotional Resilience in Ourselves and Our Communities.”
Heather’s Foundation is following AFSP’s lead in her communities in Colorado and on the East Coast.
Suicide is a leading cause of death that affects us all. It has been estimated that for every individual lost to suicide, 135 people are affected. Therefore, we ask you to consider giving us a gift of $135 to help us reach our goal.
With that said, I ask that you make a gift of $135 to Heather’s Foundation to help build Heather’s Sanctuary, a youth mental health facility.
We are in this together in the fight to stop suicide and provide care and support to those affected. Just $135 will help us reach a million in May.
