To create a world-class refuge that offers comprehensive indoor and outdoor therapy for youth. We will ensure immediate and sustained care by leveraging advanced medical support and EMT travel to the Sanctuary. Our holistic approach incorporates animal-assisted, sports, and creative therapies, fostering recovery and resilience for those in need.
Why
Lake County has no psychiatric hospital or youth treatment facility — and between Denver and Salt Lake City,
families searching for help find almost nothing. Our young people are being left without the care they deserve.

Heather's Vision
To serve and protect youth, eighteen and under, needing mental and behavioral support by providing a healing and secure therapeutic environment in a beautiful indoor/outdoor space. In this sanctuary, regional youth will begin their healing journey by first feeling safe. From there, they will learn to thrive, be brave, and embrace a wholehearted life.
